The OUTWEAR Story

Outwear was created with the aim of equipping the professional outdoor worker and outdoor enthusiast with premium quality PPE and clothing. Our exclusive brands don't sacrifice on quality and when it comes to comfort and safety neither should you.

Before Outwear was established, the owners of our company ran the import and distribution of the brands from our sister company, Wm Clark and Son (a business that was founded in 1924). As the growth of Pfanner, Protos and Woolpower increased within their company, the decision was taken to create a new company that would be totally focussed on brand distribution. Outwear Ltd was therefore created in 2017 by Andrew, Yvonne and Douglas. Outwear proudly launched into business on 1st February 2018.

Our team bring passion and energy to every aspect of the company. We spend a lot of time with our brands at their headquarters and manufacturing facilities across Europe, learning about the products and values behind the brands, to be able to share this knowledge with our stockists and customers. We also enjoy contributing to new ideas for products and sharing our own knowlede with our brands.

We enjoy the outdoors both at work and in our spare time. We are fortunate to be based in a relatively quiet part of the world that has beautiful scenery and places to explore. The products that we bring to market are ones that we genuinely believe are the best we could find globally. We hope you enjoy wearing and using them for many years.
