Protos at the BAUMA 2019 Construction and Machinery Show
The world's largest construction and machinery trade fair took place in Munich during April.
What a spectacular trade show. BAUMA manages to attract visitors from across the globe to see some amazing machinery, construction equipment and the leading manufacturers in the industry.
Outwear supported the Protos and Pfanner team for part of the show and this gave us the opportunity to meet with UK and Irish industrial customers. It was great to meet so many visitors that were impressed by the Protos safety helmet and the applications to the construction, demolition and wider industrial market.
The features that appealed to most of the visitors that we spoke to in relation to the Protos Integral Industry helmet were the integrated ear defenders and integrated safety glasses. The ability for employers to provide their teams with total head production in one system is revolutionary. The choice of colour combinations also drew a number of admirers!
BAUMA Highlights
When we had some spare time to wander around the show and clock up our daily steps some of our highlights were the massive Liebherr display, Caterpillar Hall, John Deere and their Road Planing machines and mulitple Piling and Drilling manufacturers.
