Protos at the Powerhand VRS Demo Day

Outwear were honoured to be invited along to the Powerhand VRS Demo Day to showcase the Protos Integral Safety Helmet and Bluetooth communication systems.

The event took place at a leading recycling centre in South West Scotland and was hosted by both Powerhand and D A Autoparts.

During the event a number of VRS (Vehicle Recycling System) were put through their paces by some experienced operators who could show how effective the machine is for stripping valuable metals from a vehicle in the most efficent and effective manner.

There was a great turnout of visitors from across the UK and Ireland who had travelled to see the machine in work.

Some customised Protos helmets for the Powerhand team were created especially for the event and were an instant hit with everyone that tried them on. We were also able to demonstrate the effectiveness of the 4 user BT-Com to enable clear communication between workers even in noisy environments.
