Protos Bluetooth Communication System for 4 Users launches at the APF
The long awaited 2nd generation of the Protos Bluetooth system has arrived. The first version was only able to connect 2 users but now the new edition allows 4 users to connect at once.
By utilising Bluetooth technology, Protos have created a communication system that allows the users to speak with each other in the safest possible way. Unlike radio systems, you do not need to wait for each person to stop speaking before you can contirbute. Conversations over Bluetooth are just like a normal engagement. This means that when someone really needs to get the attention of the team it can be done instantaneously.
The BT-Com system is also a perfect solution for training. The instructor can safely give instructions to a student and the student can ask questions easily.
How to fit to your Protos helmet
A huge advantage of the Protos BT-Com for Protos Integral safety helmet users is that to fit to your helmet you only need to take the existing left ear defender out of its bracket and replace with the BT-Com capsule. There are no wires, no drilling and no clamping of any items onto the helmet. The attaching of non-approved items to a helmet is a high safety risk.
How to charge your BT-Com
To charge the Protos BT-Com the process could not be simpler. You just need to remove the capsule from the bracket on your helmet and fit to the USB charging bracket which is then connected to a power source. It takes 1-2 hours to charge and the system has a run time of 8-12 hours depending on use.
