Protos Heavy Vehicle Recovery
A special customer of ours within the specialist vehicle recovery industry is delighted with the enhanced safety features of the Protos helmet and Bluetooth Communication systems they have been using recently.
We met up with them recently for a photoshoot of their fantastic Volvo truck along with their Protos Integral safety helmets and accessories.
The team are required to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This means that they will oftern be working at night and in challenging weather. The importance of being able to be seen and to communicate with each other is essential.
The solution for Euroroute was to utilise the Protos Integral safety helmet. The choice of red matched the company branding but a reflective sticker set was specifie to enhance visibility in the dark. A torch was also equipped to the helmet and some integrated safety glasses and ear defenders.
To complete the setup, the choice of using the Protos BT-Com 4 user bluetooth communication system was obvious. The system enables clear continuos communication among a team of 4 people over a range of several hundred metres, ideal for the type of work the recovery specialists undertake.
