The Bushcraft Show 2019
The Bushcraft Show is a 3 day festival of all things bushcraft. The 2019 event was the first one that we have attended and it was great to be able to showcase our Woolpower and Crispi brands to visitors.
At this year's show there were lots of excellent bushcraft activities to give people a taste of adventure or to develop and refine their exisitng skills.
Some of the experts who were there to pass on their skills and share their experiences included Ed Stafford, Andrew Thomas Price and Laura Bingham.
Some of the highlights from the 2019 Bushcraft Show
- Ancient Crafts - prehistoric log boat, flint knapping, prehistoric bronze and iron age blacksmithing
- Bushcraft Skills - friction firelighting, woodland shelter building, tracking and fieldcraft
- Tools & Crafts - Wood carving, leatherwork, green woodworking and tool sharpening
One of the friendliest shows
The biggest highlight for us was meeting so many friendly people. In particular our neighbours who invited us for dinner in their campervan and also for introducing us to their friends around the camp fire. The evenings were always a great social event and in particular on the main evening the campfire and fire display was excellent.
We look forward to being involved at future Bushcraft Shows and catching up with the friends that we have made.
